Ideal Heating HP290 Training Course (Install & Commission)
This training course is designed for experienced ASHP installers prior to installing their first HP290.
Description
The course provides key information to enable a trouble-free installation from unpacking the products to filling and commissioning. You are provided the opportunity to see the products for key installation considerations as well as time to practice completing system controls set up and basic trouble shooting.
Module 1. Range Overview.
- You will be introduced to the main component parts of the HP290 system, and how the outdoor unit, pre-plumbed cylinder and Halo Lite control can be used together for optimised efficiencies and fast installation times. The main specification and performance ratings will also be summarised. We will also cover or answer any questions around using other cylinders or controls with the HP290 ODU.
Module 2. Installation.
- You will be guided through all the main stages of unpacking, site considerations and preparation. You will then be shown the main aspects the hydraulic installation, electrical system and control requirements.
Module 3. Commissioning and controls.
- After installation we guide you through the system start up, the USB quick parameter set up and menu navigation.
Module 4. Troubleshooting.
- We cover the common areas that are found with installation error and/or end user misunderstanding.
Module 5. Service and maintenance.
- We provide what is required as minimum and recommended service requirements. More in depth training including how to complete the individual aspects can be found in our HP290 maintenance and diagnostic course. During this course you will be provided the opportunity to look at many exercises including system wiring, correct ODU positioning including R290 safe zones, frost protection considerations, controls start up and programming.
Who can attend:
This course is designed for already qualified and experienced ASHP installers. The course is designed to specialise in HP290 specific technical considerations. Those with no prior experience or qualifications should attend our Air Source Heat Pump systems course prior to booking on our product training.
